Apple’s new big event is to take place at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music, Howard Gilman Opera House in New York on October 30. The company issued the invites for the same to confirm the details. The Keynote is expected to start at 10 am EDT, it will focus on a new lineup of iPad and Mac computers. The company is holding a separate event to launch iPad Pros and Macs. also, the invites say “there’s more in the making”. Last year, Apple launched two new iPad Pros in 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. The company has already announced a new 9.7-inch regular iPad which is focused on the education segment at an event in Chicago, which happened earlier this year.
These new iPads Pro are likely to see an edge-to-edge display, face Id and a few other improvements. These iPads would be the first ones to be without a Home button, which all houses the fingerprint scanner. The designs of these iPads would be aligned to the designs of the new iPhones launched this year. It is also expected that the company could launch a new version of the Apple Pencil along with these new iPads. There are reports that iPad Pro 2018 may not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Along with all this, Apple may also launch an affordable notebook as a replacement to the MacBook Air. The 12-inch MacBook, iMac and the Mac Mini are also due to be upgraded with the latest processors. It is possible that these could be the last set of Macs which are powered by Intel processors, as there are a few reports that the company will bring its own range of processors to its laptop range as well.
