Sony has officially launched the highly anticipated FX2, a new full-frame camera aimed at professionals seeking a hybrid tool that excels in both video production and still photography. Building on the legacy of the FX3 and drawing elements from the popular Alpha series, the FX2 introduces a unique combination of cinema-grade video capabilities with robust stills performance all packed into a compact, handheld-friendly body.
One of the standout features of the FX2 is its 4K cropped mode, offering filmmakers the flexibility to shoot with an extended focal length effect, ideal for interviews, wildlife, or any scenario requiring a tighter field of view without changing lenses.
