Airtel recently announced that its users will now be able to interact with customer care via Google Assistant. Also, in a statement, the company said that the feature is currently available only in English but, it is soon to be rolled out in many regional languages to improve the experience of millions of smartphone users. According to Sarang Kanade, Director, Customer Experience and Retail, Bharti Airtel, it is a great step for making digital self-care much more interactive and steps up the customer experience. Also, the company will continue to bring more such solutions for the ‘Digital India’
Also, the Airtel users will be able to ask Google Assistant questions about data and the account balance, current outstanding, recharge, bill summary and pay bills available postpaid plans etc. this initiative is the part of ‘Project Next’ which is Airtel’s digital innovation programme. It is aimed at transforming customer experience through its services and touch points. In order to get the account details, the assistant will ask to link your Airtel account with Google. If you approve that, you will be asked about your mobile number, accept the Terms Of Service.
After you have agreed to the terms of service, you will receive an OTP, after entering the OTP you will be successful in linking your account.
