OnePlus has recently released the public beta version of the company’s Android 9 Pie-based HydrogenOS for OnePlus 5 and 5T users in the market in China. Just a few days back a closed beta version of the forthcoming system update was leaked out on the internet. As OnePlus runs its devices with HydrogenOS in the Chinese market. Whereas, OxygenOS in the other International markets. Both of these versions of the operating system have a common code base with just two major differences. the first difference is the user interface and the second difference is the absence of the Google services in HydrogenOS. With the launch of the public beta version for HydrogenOS, the company will launch the Open Beta version for OxygenOS as well

If we talk about the HydrogenOS public beta, the size of the ROM file for OnePlus 5 is 2.04GB and the size for the 5T is 2.05GB. Also, The download website shows these ROM files as the 21st system update for OnePlus 5 and it is the 20th update for the 5T.
