Tech Giant Samsung is all set to launch its newest device on the market, the Galaxy A8s. The device would be globally revealed today and the event is being held in China. The company will be live streaming the launch of Galaxy A8s. expectedly, the device will feature the Infinity-O Display, which is one of the new display types revealed by the company recently. Samsung has been teasing the launch of Galaxy A8s on its Weibo page. Also, the company has already revealed the name of the device along with the circular cutout on the display which is expected to feature the front camera.
Recently in a post on the Weibo page, The company revealed the time of the launch of the Galaxy A8s. they also revealed how the users can watch the live stream. The Samsung Galaxy A8s live stream is scheduled to commence at 4 pm CST which is 1:30 pm IST and it will be available to watch on the Samsung China site and also on the Galaxy Club website. According to the recent leaks, the device is expected to feature a 6.39-inch display along with a full-HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Also, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC along with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card. For Imaging purposes, it is rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy A8s will have a 24-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 10-megapixel sensors at the rear. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel sensor which will be housed in a display hole.
As for the dimensions, the smartphone measures 159.11×74.88×7.38mm. Reportedly, the device will launch in a Black-Grey gradient colour variant. Also, the handset is expected to be introduced with a 3,400mAh battery and it will have a USB Type-C port. It might also come without 3.5mm audio jack support. The device is expected to come with the Infinity-O Type display which was revealed by the company at their Samsung Developer Conference held in November.
