According to CAD-based renders and a 360-degree video which was shared by the tipster, the device can be seen featuring a thicker frame than expected Xperia XZ4 and also it seems that the device will feature an 18:9 display. These renders of Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact hints that the company is going beyond the market trend of the edge-to-edge screen and the company does not plan on introducing the dual-rear camera on the smartphone.
The back of the Xperia XZ4 seems to be featuring a glossy finish along with a single camera setup. If we see other design elements, they include volume buttons on the right side and there is a fingerprint sensor on the power button. Furthermore, The top edge features a 3.5mm audio port, whereas the bottom edge has a USB Type-C port. According to the leaks a few specifications of the Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact, It might feature a small 5-inch display, which is different from the anticipated Xperia XZ4’s big 6.55-inch display. Notably, Xperia XZ4 Compact will be the smaller variant having a 139.9×66.5×9.3mm dimension. There are no specific rumours about the launch date of the device, but it is expected that the company will reveal the device during CES 2019 which will take place in January.
