Tweet Reveals Oppo’s Triple Camera R17 Pro Could Be Coming To India Soon

Oppo launched the R17 Pro in China in August, the company has now started teasing the arrival of its R series in India. Recently, Oppo India tweeted that they will be launching the R series in India soon. The devices in this series have premium hardware and design which will take on the likes of OnePlus, Samsung and other high-end brands. The company is still to decide a date for the launch of the device. The company has not revealed that the first R-series phone it is planning to bring in India, but it is expected that it might start off things with the Oppo R17 Pro.

The company launched its R17 Pro in China just a few months ago and it was then proposed to the European market as the RX17 Pro earlier this month. This is the only model which is available in both the Chinese and the European market, there are more chances that the company may bring this to India as well. Oppo has started revealing many advertisements of the Oppo R17 Pro on Hotstar and various other digital platforms. Oppo might also announce the regular Oppo R17 along with the Pro model.

The Oppo R17 Pro sports a tall 6.4-inch FHD+ waterdrop display with a 91.5 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone also has Gorilla Glass protection on the front as well as the back. Oppo R17 Pro is powered by a powerful mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a 3,700 battery and the company’s patented fast charge support. It helps the device to charge from zero to 40 per cent in just 10 minutes. Also, The regular Oppo R17 comes with a waterdrop display and an in-display fingerprint sensor, but it provides a dual camera setup and it has a Snapdragon 670 chipset instead of an SD710 SoC.
