Samsung Has Launched W2019 Clamshell Phone With Dual Screen Display And Dual Rear Cameras

Samsung has launched its new Clamshell Phone, called W2019. The new device comes with dual screen displays and a physical keypad. W2019 is made of two 4.2-inch super AMOLED displays and both of them have a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The price of the device has not been confirmed by the South Korean Major, but it will be exclusive to China Unicom. The price is expected to be above 10,000 yuan which is approx Rs. 104,182. Confirmed by the company, the Clamshell phone will run the Snapdragon 845 processor and a 3070mAh Battery. The W2019 Clamshell device comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage. Also, the storage is expandable through a microSD card. It comes with a Bixby support but it does not sport a 3.5mm headphone jack.

About the design of the phone, the device images show a bend of the phone around the rectangular hinge. It has antenna lines running along it. Though the details are not confirmed yet, It appears to have a plastic body with a metallic finish. The Clamshell phone comes with a dual rear camera configuration consisting of 12MP+12MP cameras. It also sports an 8MP front camera. The W2019 phone has dimensions of 132.9 x 63.4 x 17.3mm. It comes with two colour variants, Rose Gold and Platinum. The connectivity modes include Dual-sim support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, NFC support, a type C-USB port for charging, NFC support, audio support and data transfer. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
