Recently, Realme launched its U-series phone in India. The first device falling in the category of U-series by the company is the Realme U1. The base model of the smartphone comes with a price tag of at Rs 11,999, with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone will also be available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at a price of Rs 14,499. The device will first go on sale on December 5 exclusively through Amazon India platform. Just like the other phones from the house of Realme, the all-new Realme U1 comes along with glass-finish back. The company affirms that the phone has a 13-layer micron-level coating under the back cover. Additionally, The back panel is claimed to be more durable and fall resistant than the real glass.
Other than a premium glass-finish, the smartphone comes with a smaller dewdrop notch display on the front because of which the device gets a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with ColorOS and a number of customised features. The device also has a Smart Sidebar and also a Game Sidebar for games. The camera sports a 25-megapixel front-facing camera which comes with a 4-in-1 pixel synthesis that delivers a 1.8um equivalent photosensitive length. As claimed by the company the front camera delivers better quality images and noise control in a low-light environment. The Realme U1 measures 74 x 157 x 8mm and it weighs around 168 grams. The device runs on MediaTek’s AI-based Helio P70 processor along with 3GB/4GB of RAM. there are two storage variants offered by the company, 32GB and 64GB storage models. Both of these models have expandable storage up to 256GB through a microSD card.
