The new device from OnePlus, the Oneplus 6T has recently launched and the smartphone is to go on sale on Amazon. There are just two colour variants for the new phone: Mirror Black (with a glossy finish) and Midnight Black (with a dull finish). This phone comes with various RAM and storage configurations, ranging from 6GB RAM and 128GB storage to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. As of now, there are only two colour variants for the device, but according to a leak, there might be a new thunder purple colour variant launching soon.
Though the new colour variant option has not been confirmed by OnePlus yet, it seems to be based on a solid piece of information. The information comes from leaker Ishan Agrawal. He previously tweeted that a purple colour variant could be in works for OnePlus 6T. Furthermore, an Amazon Germany listen had also mentioned the thunder purple variant of the device before it was removed. Agrawal has spotted out a listing on the OnePlus India Support Page which points to the purple colour variant coming soon. But, at the time of writing, the Thunder purple listing has been removed from the site and only the other two variants of the new OnePlus 6T device are listed with other OnePlus products.
It is possible that the new purple colour variant could launch in the coming weeks. It could be possible as OnePlus is known to launch different colour variants after the initial launch of the product. The company tends to stick with Midnight Black and Mirror black for the black lovers but the expected-to-launch Thunder purple colour variant might appeal to the users who think black is boring.
