Tech Giant, Samsung is preparing well to launch their new mid-range smartphone – Galaxy A8s with company’s Infinity-O display. The upcoming device would be the first one to feature Samsung’s Infinity-O display. The key highlight of this Infinity-O display will be a small cut-out in front of the screen which will feature the front camera sensor. This bezel-less display design was displayed at the company’s Developer Conference which was held earlier this month. Also, the company showed a teaser for the upcoming Galaxy A8s at the Galaxy A6s and Galaxy A9s launch event organised in China.
The device is expected to arrive by January next year. Just a month ahead of the launch, there are a few details which include the image render and screen protector image have been leaked online. As claimed by Tipster Ice Universe, Samsung will be having a hole in the screen in order to place in the front camera module. For the Infinity-O design, the company put a small hole on the top left of the display on the smartphone, measuring 6.7mm in diameter to place the front camera. The screen will be flat just like the Samsung’s Galaxy S-series and Note series which sport a dual-curved edge Infinity display.
According to a report by AllAboutSamsung, the Galaxy A8s will feature a 6.4-inch display. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor whereas, India and other countries could possibly get the Exynos variant. Also, the device is rumoured to be launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which will be expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card.
