To launch its first Z series gadget in India, Chinese cell phone maker Vivo on Wednesday declared its exclusive partnership with retail giant Flipkart. The cell phone would feature a 6.53-inch full HD+ display, 16 megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel triple back camera setup and a 16-megapixel in-display selfie camera.
According to Nipun Marya, Director, Brand Strategy, Vivo India, The all-new Z series has been intended to engage youth and satisfy the dynamic needs of the ‘Gen Z.’ Running on Android 9 Pie, the gadget is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and will be backed by 5,000 mAh battery.
The cell phone could be a variation of Vivo Z5x, launched in China a month ago as the brand’s first handset with a punch-hole display. In China, the smartphone accompanies four capacity variants including 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB.
Details about the pricing and availability of all variants in India has not yet been revealed.
