Tech Giant Apple Sold 43.8 Million iPhone Units in Q2 2019_ IHS

IHS has given an increasingly positive estimate yet for the number of iPhones sold in Q2 2019. This comes after Apple’s income call for Q2 2019, where the organization revealed that iPhone sales were down 17 percent yearly. IHS assessed that Apple has sold 43.8 million iPhones in Q2 2019, which as indicated by the analyst group is down 16 percent yearly from 52.2 million iPhones in Q2 2018.

The IHS estimate, announced by 9to5Mac, is higher than that of other analyst firms, for example, Canalys and IDC. Canalys estimated that Apple sent 40.2 million iPhones, while IDC has evaluated that number to be 36.4 million. IHS evaluated that Samsung delivered 70.8 million smartphones in the same quarter, which is a decrease of nine percent. Similarly, It said Huawei sold around 59.1 million smartphones during this period.

This isn’t the first occasion when that iPhone shipments have declined and Apple has repeated its commitment to services to compensate for the setback. The organization detailed increase in income from wearables and services. Apple CEO Tim Cook had said during the organization’s earnings call that price modification in China, lower Chinese expenses on the iPhone, and the exchange program Apple offered permitted iPhone deals to begin recouping towards the finish of the quarter.
