Just after a few days of launching in Nepal, Oppo A7 is set to hit the Indian markets as well. The new device was spotted on Oppo India’s website. Though the company has not revealed any such details about the smartphone as of yet, there are some reports which reveal a few of the aspects of the smartphone. According to the report by 91mobiles, Oppo’s A7 will go on sale in Indian markets from November 27. And the device is just the rebranded version of Realme 2. The report affirms that the Oppo A7 will be targeting the offline market. The smartphone will be available through offline stores throughout the country from November 27. Additionally, The report notifies, that the device could be priced at Rs 16,999 or Rs 17,999 when it finally goes officially on sale.
A Mumbai-based retailer, claims the official retail price of the smartphone is Rs 16,990. In comparison, the Realme 2 is priced at Rs 9,499 for the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 10,990. The A7 is expected to be offered only in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and the pricing does seem to be on the higher side. The Oppo A7 is anticipated to offer just 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and the Oppo A7 price might not be on the higher side.
As of the specifications of the device, It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC along with Adreno 506 GPU. the smartphone comes in two storage variants: 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage. The storage of the device is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The Oppo A7 sports a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels, teardrop notch, and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone features an aluminium back with a gradient finish which gives it a premium look.
