The new smartphone from Motorola was launched last month in India. The device is the part of Google’s Android One programme. The Lenovo owned company is launching its smartphones in the country to take over the smartphone market, currently dominated by other smartphones like Redmi Note 5 and Poco F1. The smartphone would be available on sale today from 12 pm, this phone is the first smartphone from the company to have a notched display.The mid-range smartphone includes a Snapdragon 636 processor, 5,000mAh battery and more. This smartphone also features Widevine L1 license to support high definition video streaming. The registration for the Flipkart-exclusive smartphone started from September 24th but the sale was scheduled from October 5th in the country. With the current price in the country Rs. 15,999, the device comes with 64GB internal storage with 4GB RAM. This smartphone would be available on sale on the website from 12 pm today. The device runs on Android 8.1 software. When we see talk about the optics, the smartphone features a dual rear camera which has a 16-megapixel sensor and another one is a 5-megapixel sensor. It also supports 4k video recording and it has a 12-megapixel sensor at front supported by a single flash.The 64GB memory is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). There is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. The device claims to deliver six hours of usage by 5,000mAh battery with a charging of only 15 minutes, this has been possible because of the 15W TurboPower fast charger. At the launch event, the company announced that the phone will receive Android Pie soon, which we might assume as Android 9 is being tested for the smartphone.
