ASUS ZenFone Now Available With Android Oreo Update

Asus has released the update to Android 8.1 Oreo for the two smartphones of Zenfone 4 Selfie launched last year.

For both smartphones, the new software version is “Oreo 15.0400.1809.405”. If you install the update, you are on Android 8.1 and ZenUI 5.0. You have to go into Settings > About > System update to manually if you did not have received any notification yet.

In India, the cost of The ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL) is Rs. 14,999/ – while the cost of ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZB553KL) is Rs. 9,999/ – only.


The ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL) has a 20-megapixel sensor and another 8-megapixel sensor at the front. It has a 16-megapixel sensor in the rear back, while ZB553KL, comes with 13-megapixel sensors at both sides.

Operating System:

The ZenFone 4 Selfie runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD display. It is controlled by a Snapdragon 430 SoC integrated with 4GB RAM.


The smartphone offers 64GB of built-in storage capacity which is expandable with a slot if required, via microSD card up to 128GB.

Other significant specifications:

ZenFone 4 Selfie variants include 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1. Also, the fingerprint scanner is integrated with 3,000mAh capacity batteries.
