Redmi 8 is all set to go on sale in its weekly flash sale through Flipkart and Mi.com today. The smartphone was launched last month in India. It sports a 5,000mAh battery as its most significant feature. The Redmi 8 features the company’s ‘Aura Mirror’ design and has a dual rear camera setup.
The Redmi 8 comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,999 for its 3GB + 32GB variant, and the 4GB + 64GB storage variant comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,999. As for the first 5 million units, the 4GB + 64GB storage variant is available with an attractive price of Rs. 7,999.
The sale will commence at 12 PM today via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. The smartphone will be available in four color variants being Emerald Green, Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.
The device features a 6.22-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with Corning gorilla glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, Up to 4GB RAM. The standard connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, a back fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
